Frankenfest on Main
Terms and Conditions of Booth Space Rental
  • Booths will be rented on a first come, first served basis. There is one uniform rental fee,
based on a sliding scale of deadlines

  • In response to current economic issues, we have lowered our booth rental fees.  Our 2009
    booth rental fees are:
  • Before August 1, 2009 - $30 per booth space
  • August 1, 2009 - October 31, 2009 - $40 per booth space

  • The Frankenfest on Main Coordinators may choose to deny a vendor based on
appropriateness of products and duplication of vendors.

  • Setup may begin at 7:00am on October 31, 2009.  The event runs from 9:00am - 5:00pm.
PLEASE PLAN TO REMAIN AT THE FESTIVAL FOR THE ENTIRETY OF THE EVENT.  It
harms other vendors as well as the event itself when vendors leave early.  (This, of course,
    is weather notwithstanding.)

  • We request that each vendor provide one item from their booth to be displayed and raffled
at our Welcome Center.  Participation is not required, however, we would greatly appreciate
your support. (This is also an excellent method of advertising during the event.)

  • All booth rentals will be confirmed by e-mail upon receipt (within 7 days). Booths reserved
(and applications received) by August 1, 2009 will be confirmed by US Postal Mail by
September 15, 2009.  Booths reserved after August 1, 2009 will be confirmed by October 5,
2009.  Please also consider your cancelled check as confirmation.  Confirmation will
only be sent out at these times.

  • If you need any information, please e-mail us at info@frankenfestonmain.org.

  • No adjustments will be made after October 5, 2009.  Applications will be accepted through
    October 28, 2009.

  • If you are cooking on site, you must have a fire extinguisher in your booth.  Please notify
us in the 'Special Requests' section if you will be cooking food to be served.

  • If you are selling food of any form in your booth, regardless of whether it is for profit or as a
fundraiser, you must complete the forms for Food Service Vendors, which must be filed with
the Franklin County Health Department.  There will be a select number of booths for
    food sales of any sort.

  • If you are a for-profit food vendor, you must obtain a permit from the Franklin County
Health Department. Indicate this in the Special Requests section of your application form,
    please.

  • Vendors keep all profits from their booths.  We make no guarantees as to the amount of
profit that will be generated by vendors.

  • The only fees we collect are those from registration.  The registration fee and other profits
from the festival collected by the Franklinton Uptown Revitalization Committee and will be
used to host civic events and create a more inviting atmosphere for uptown Franklinton.
Thank you for your support of our efforts and our community!

  • Frankenfest on Main is an outdoor event, and will be held rain or shine.  You may
wish to bring a pop up tent, or sides for it.  You may also wish to bring tarps or plastic in the
    event of rain.

  • Fees are non-refundable.  Electricity is not available.  Tables are not provided.
